Status monitoring: how service health is evaluated
Loqmi automatically checks its public endpoints and data services. Each component is checked for availability, response latency, and data freshness. The status page shows current health data, rolling 90-day availability history, and notices for active or resolved maintenance windows.
Status evaluation criteria
Each component is classified using these thresholds:
- Operational: The endpoint responds with HTTP 200 within normal latency limits and has current data.
- Degraded Performance: Response latency is above normal thresholds, or background data such as Tor node lists or registry databases needs updating.
- Partial Outage: The endpoint responds with HTTP 200 but reports a temporary service error.
- Major Outage: The endpoint cannot be reached, times out, or returns a 5xx server error.
- Maintenance: A scheduled upgrade or maintenance window is underway.
Machine-readable feeds
For automated monitoring and integration, status is available in machine-readable formats:
- /status/status.json : Current overall status, individual component state, latency metrics, and check timestamps.
- /status/history.json : 90-day daily check counts and uptime breakdown.
- /status/incidents.atom : Atom feed for incident and maintenance announcements.
