About Loqmi Internet Tools
Loqmi is an independent site with IP lookup and internet speed test tools, plus clear explanations of networks. We help you check what your connection is doing, understand what the results mean, and find practical next steps.
Who we are
Loqmi answers everyday network questions with information that is easy to use and careful with the facts. An IP address can tell you some things about a connection, but it is not a precise location or a complete picture of a person. We explain those limits plainly, alongside the useful details.
Who writes the guides
The guides are written and reviewed by Muhsen Sakka, Loqmi's founder and editor. He has more than 20 years of experience in networking, computers, SEO and development. Before publication, he checks facts against primary technical sources such as RFCs and network documentation.
Tools, topics and practical guides
Use the homepage to see the public IP address your connection presents, along with provider and approximate location information. The speed test measures download and upload speed, ping, jitter and loaded latency between your browser and our server. We also publish practical guides on IP addresses, privacy and location, VPNs, home networking, DNS, and internet performance. These guides help you understand a result and decide what to try next.
Our free tools are live: IP Lookup checks a public IPv4 or IPv6 address; IP Blacklist Check checks selected IPv4 DNS blocklists; Port Checker tests one TCP port on your own observed public IP; WebRTC Leak Test inspects browser ICE candidates; and the Speed Test measures your route to our server.
How we work
We aim for accurate guides, with sources such as RFCs and vendor documentation cited where relevant. We write with AI assistance and edit each guide before publication. If a reader reports an error, we investigate it and correct the page when needed.
When you use the IP lookup, our server sees your request address to return the result and does not keep it beyond standard hosting logs. The lookup result is not saved in browser storage. The lookup may also send your address to third-party geolocation providers so they can return location details. The speed test sends test data to our server, which counts and discards it; optional recent results stay in your browser and can be cleared. See our Privacy Policy for the full details, including advertising and third-party services.
Loqmi is independent. We have no VPN affiliate deals, and ads help fund the site without changing our advice. Recommendations should be useful on their own, regardless of who might pay for them.
